Sodium Nitrite Technical Liquor / GenClear N is a sodium nitrite /nitrate solution with a relatively high concentration of sodium nitrate. This high nitrate content allows GenClear N to be used to control odors and corrosion caused by hydrogen sulfide in wastewater systems. This solution has also found applications as a low temperature thermal fluid in large industrial chiller and stratified thermal storage systems.

Description

GenClear N controls hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) throughout a system from relatively few feed points by providing a food source which is consumed in a preferred metabolic pathway by bacteria over the reduction of sulfur, hence eliminating the formation of H₂S.
