Acid Alums are part of General Chemical’s Clar⁺Ion^® and Liquid Alum, Acidized product lines.  They can be custom formulated with a specific alum to acid ratio to improve product application and meet treatment goals.  Acidulated alum based products have demonstrated superior total organic carbon (TOC) removal and are commonly used to reduce residual soluble aluminum in treated water.

Description

Acid Alums are a blend of inorganic coagulants with sulfuric acid.  The products are colorless to light amber, green liquid and contain between 0.5% and 20% free sulfuric acid.
