Clar⁺Ion^® products are formulated to improve cold water treatment as well as turbidity, particle and color removal.  They also can provide excellent economics by reducing alkali use and sludge generation.  

Some of the Clar⁺Ion^® formulations are designed to control algae as well as function as a primary coagulant.  These products benefit applications in warmer climates or seasons where the blended product helps meet a combination of raw, settled, and finished water quality goals as well as ease of operations.    

Description

Clar⁺Ion^® products include acid alums (see acid alums) as well as blends of inorganic coagulants with organic polymers and/or algaecides.  The products are colorless to light amber colored liquid and have an Al₂O₃ assay range between 4.8% and 8.1%.
