Ecological Solution - Spent Sulfuric Acid Recovery

Refineries use sulfuric acid as an alkylation process catalyst in the production of gasoline.  This process dilutes and contaminates the sulfuric acid catalyst which is thermally decomposed and regenerated into fresh sulfuric acid.  General Chemical operates three facilities for the regeneration of spent acid providing our customers with an economical and environmentally sound solution to their pollution abatement and sulfur recovery needs.
